Photographer: Ron Cohn

Ever since she received a painting from the famous mathematically inclined chimpanzee named AI ("Love" in Japanese) at the Kyoto Primate Institute, Koko has become more interested in sketching and painting again. Here she is holding one of her new multi-colored works, which is as yet unnamed. We"ll share more of her creations with you as they emerge.

You can see (and purchase) some of Koko"s classic paintings (eg, "Love," "Bird," and "Pink, Pink, Stink, Nice Drink") here.
